Generative music always obeys patterns defined by the coder.Under these patterns, lines of code use mathematical or random algorithms to make the music sound somehow melodious.Ive been selected for a one month (July 2017) web residency by Solitude and ZKM to develop such patterns.The result of my work can be followed on https://schloss-post.com/generative-music-patterns/and is compiled in this free app.
